Tabhold is crash insurance for people who live in dozens of tabs. Name a workspace, Hold it on purpose, and Restore in batches so Chrome doesn’t freeze when everything comes back.
Try free local Hold 1-week Pro trial → $29/mo USD
Free forever on this computer: named workspaces, Hold, batched Restore. Pro adds membership benefits (sync/history as they ship) with a free trial — cancel before it ends and you aren’t charged.
Product: Tabhold — a Google Chrome desktop extension (Manifest V3) that saves named tab workspaces and restores them in batches.
Free core (no card): Install early-access build (Load unpacked) or later Chrome Web Store listing; create named workspaces; Hold open tabs; Restore in batches. Data stays in your browser on that computer.
Pro membership ($29 USD / month after trial): Supports ongoing development; early access to paid sync/history when released; membership billing via Stripe. During trial you are not charged until the trial ends unless you cancel.
Delivery: Digital only. Access instructions and download/install links are emailed after signup / shown on the thank-you page. No physical shipping.
Not included today: Guaranteed cloud sync (shipping later), mobile browsers, or door-to-door support.
Label the window you’re in — “Taxes”, “Job hunt”, “Client A”.
Snapshot that working set when it’s good, not only after a crash.
Bring tabs back in waves so Chrome stays usable.
Chrome’s built-in restore often fails after crashes, hibernate, or updates. OneTab-style tools can wipe saved lists or freeze when reopening huge piles. Tabhold is for intentional named sessions — seatbelt, not ambulance paperwork.
$0 USD. No card required. Keep using named workspaces on this machine.
Free trial: 1 week (Gumroad/Stripe trial window). Card on file; charged only if you don’t cancel before trial ends. Reminder email before charge when the processor supports it.
Cancel anytime from your billing portal / Gumroad library. After cancel or failed payment: local Holds remain on your computer; Pro features lock — we don’t delete your local workspace data.
